Seaworld Abu Dhabi is the region's first marine life theme park and has opened in May 2023. Our work involved preparing an EIA Report in line with EAD requirements, encompassing a number of baseline environmental surveys, and a water quality modelling and assessment study.

The project is envisioned to be the best amusement park in the GCC in terms of guest experience and world-class construction and sustainability standards. It is located just 40km from the center of Riyadh and forms part of the overall Qiddiya mixed-use development. Our work involved a number of services including preparing an EIA for NCEC permitting, waste management planning and strategy, and a number of technical studies to satisfy local authority standards and client requirements.

Lusail Commercial Boulevard is located within the boundaries of Doha's self-contained and urban development, Lusail City. It is a dynamic, diverse and unique shopping, commercial and residential destination in the heart of Lusail. The scope included the full solid waste management engineering, design and planning for the development alongside the lead design architect. The scope culminated in the development of a comprehensive solid waste management strategy, pneumatic waste collection system design and engineering, and architectural and infrastructure layouts and details.

The project is a large residential development comprising of over 50 towers, forming one of the key districts in the overall Dubai Creek Harbor Development. The scope included full waste management planning, design and engineering culminating in an overall operational waste management strategy with full architectural and MEP drawings and engineering specifications.

"The total project area is adjacent and approximately 10km northeast to the Al Ula International Airport. This project supports the tourism industry through the development of a mixed-use project with residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. The project is currently under development. The scope included the full breadth of environmental services, from environmental permitting from RCU, to scoping, baseline studies, ecology surveys, construction environmental management plans for the early works and an EIA Report for the project throughout its lifecycle. "

Saudi Downtown Company is a master and lead developer owned by PIF and are tasked with the development of 12 different downtown developments across the kingdom. The scope entailed the full EIA scope management for all 12 sites, managing the delivery of desktop reviews, site assessments, scoping reports, baseline studies, specialist studies and EIA Reports. The scope also included the full permitting requirements for all 12 sites, running concurrently.

"This required environmental permitting services for two desalination plants being constructed within a plot in Abu Dhabi. The plants are being designed and constructed to serve irrigation demand and will have a total capacity of 4,500 m3/day on a plot area of 1,250 sqm. The scope of work consisted of a detailed site survey, desktop research, and identification of appropriate impacts and mitigation measures. Given the nature of the project, detailed hydrodynamic modeling, brine dispersion modeling, and a marine ecology survey were emphasized in order to analyze the impact on the project on the adjacent marine environment."

"The aquifer storage and recovery project is being developed by DEWA within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. This project will consist of injection of desalinated seawater into the existing aquifer and is being designed and implemented to act as a contingency water supply source in case of any interruptions in water supply within the Emirate. Given the project’s highly sensitive location, a detailed site survey was conducted to establish baseline conditions within the reserve. This consisted of a visual survey as well as an in-depth ecology survey to identify flora and fauna within the reserve. Baseline testing for air quality and noise monitoring was also conducted. An EIA was conducted for the project, with special consideration given to impacts on ecology as well as impacts of long-term mixing of desalinated seawater with native groundwater."""

The project is a large mega-mall complex of 1,445,025 square meters in Dubai with a mix of uses inclusive of retail, entertainment, recreation, an office tower, and hotels. The project is currently under construction and will be a flagship attraction, including the world’s tallest residential tower, a mall with retractable roof, approximately 2,050 hotel rooms and suites, a 1.2 km indoor ski-slope (the world’s longest), recreational and office spaces. The scope included the review, validation and update of the current waste management strategy. The complexity of the project involved extensive zonation, segregation, and the strategic design of operational elements such as waste flows. Waste storage and treatment rooms were engineered and designed for optimum efficiency and effectiveness.

Ras Al Khor Development Project is located next to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary (RAKWS) in Dubai, and aims to give its residents and users views of the abundant flora and fauna species within the RAKWS. As the Project is located in an ecologically sensitive area in Dubai, the environmental studies prepared for the Project included an environmental impact assessmemt, compensation plan, and bird friendly building design code reports. The environemntal baseline surveys undertaken for the project included air quality, noise, soil and groundwater quality, and terrestrial ecology surveys (including avifauna survey).

The ROSHN Makkah Development Project, is located in Makkah province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The Project is a mixed use development comprising of residential and commercial components. The environmental scope consisted of developing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) study, including environmental baseline surveys such as air quality, noise, soil quality and terrestrial ecology surveys. The EIA has been submitted and approved by NCEC and the EPC obtained.

The ROSHN Sedra Development Project is an 8 phase project, located in north of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The Project is a mixed use development comprising of residential and commercial components such as retail, schools, malls, healthcare facilities and mosques. The environmental scope consisted of updating the existing environmental impact assessment (EIA) study, including environmental baseline surveys such as air quality, noise, soil quality and terrestrial ecology surveys. The overall EIA was submitted and approved by NCEC and the EPC obtained.
