EIA/ESIA/SEA
As per regional environmental regulations, all projects in the built environment sector require an environmental permit prior to construction. In the majority of cases, the permit requires an environmental study to be conducted by a qualified and registered environmental consultant. Whether it is a masterplan for a mixed-use development, an infrastructure plan, a utility plant, a renewable energy plant, a transportation network or an industrial project, an impact assessment will be required.
There are many types of environmental impact studies that are recognized and required in the region, for which the same principles of contextualizing the project area, understanding the different project elements, assessing their impacts on the surrounding environment, and devising a management plan to prevent, mitigate, monitor, and improve the overall environmental footprint.
