Environmental Audits and Reporting
A CEMP audit is a systematic evaluation of a project’s adherence to its established and approved CEMP. The main objective of a CEMP Audit is to assess the project’s compliance with environmental regulations, evaluate environmental performance and verify best management practices as outlined in the CEMP.

Hatta Hydropower Plant

The project consists of the construction of a pumped storage hydropower plant located near the community of Hatta in the Hajar Mountains, 140km southeast of the city of Dubai. The HPP is a major component of the overall Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050. The environmental scope consisted of updating the EIA previously conducted by others, conduct updated baseline surveys, prepare the project CEMP and update it regularly, supervise the environmental monitoring framework, supervise environmental management and implementation on site, and conduct quarterly CEMP audits.
