Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Environmental Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission to provide exceptional environmental consultancy services that empower our clients to make informed decisions, minimize their ecological footprint, and reduce their impact on the environment. This role offers a remote work model, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration across teams. We welcome applicants from any location, as long as they can align with our working hours in GST (Gulf Standard Time).

Job Success Profile

The successful candidate for this position fits the below profile:

• BSc degree level qualified in a relevant environmental sciences or engineering discipline
• Preference for an MSc degree in environmental management, engineering, or related environmental discipline.
• Up to 2 years of consulting experience working on environmental projects, preferably projects in the Middle East
• Good understanding of the EIA/ESIA process, local and international environmental and social legislation, guidelines, and standards.
• Excellent written English and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to produce robust and comprehensive written deliverables.

This individual will be responsible for providing support to our projects’ delivery team in the following tasks:

• Support the development and authoring of large-scale environmental and social impact assessment studies, environmental due diligence, and environmental design planning projects for the built environment and infrastructure clients in the UAE, KSA, and the wider region.
• Provide reporting, project coordination, technical assessments, and support on projects.
• Support coordination with clients, project stakeholders, and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international environmental standards and guidelines.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and implement the Terra Nexus values and principles.

This is a full-time post with an employment package and a salary commensurate with experience. Regular training and professional development will be provided.
